I am a fortyish mother of two, married to a wonderful man, living on 50 acres in Texas, right in the middle of nowhere. I do crafts to keep sane. I’m not sure it’s working. Anywhoo- I like to crochet, sew, cross stitch, knit (I’m just startin’ this), and quilting (which is like sewing unless you ask a real bona fide quilter- of which I am not one.)
My love of all things crafty began with my grandmother. She died before I could master the basics like hans sewing a straight line or even tension on my starting chain. I am mostly self taught. Meaning, I know a few people to ask if I get really stuck, but I mostly rely on the internet and the kindness of strangers in craft stores.
